Sew your own

An anatomical image of a human heart, stitched onto aida fabric that is white with pale red blobs intended to look like blood stains. The cross-stitched heart is mounted in a small, round, gold coloured frame, which is held in the palm of a hand. A computer keyboard is visible in the background.

Have you visited the Creative Resources section recently? There are lots of patterns and ideas that you can use to create your own heart-themed artwork and they are all entirely free. I made this little cross-stitched heart recently using this pattern. Perfect thank-you gift for your cardiologist?! Ha!

I aim to keep adding heart-related projects to the Creative Resources section, so do keep an eye on it from time to time. And if you do make anything using one of my patterns, please let me know and send pictures!
